As we all know, the European regulation on road traffic licenses has changed since February 2022. Mostly, the regulation of the first aid kit DIN13164-2022.
What changes, practically, is the addition of two medical masks – ffp2 or surgical mask, it makes no difference. Beyond the small variation in content – two more masks, one triangular sheet less -, everything else remains unchanged. The rest of the content remains unchanged, and all the other obligations as the respect of the expiration date.
Each kit has an expiration date and, practically, becouse the materials that compose the content (such bandages, wraps, etc. etc.) have an expiration date. If this is exceeded, then the kit must be replaced with a new one, and this applies both to the entire first aid kit and to individual parts.
The main inspection (TÜV) and the police regularly check the expiration dates. And, on the street, traffic controls do the same – leading to penalties if the kits are not regulated.
